#Review of Counsel Of The Wicked by @EASchechter

Matthias has spent his whole life on the edge of a very small world. The bastard child of a fallen woman, he's known nothing but judgment and hatred from the harsh, religious people of his enclave—except for Balthazar. The son and heir of the High Elder, Balthazar shows Matthias kindness, love... and desire. But when the High Elder discovers what his son has been doing, Matthias is arrested and sent to an isolated prison known as the School. There, and in the wastelands beyond, Matthias learns the secrets behind the hypocrisies of the Council of Elders, and his true heritage, true power, and true love.
Elizabeth Schechter has been called one of the top erotica and alternative sexuality writers in the world. Her writing credits include the award-winning steampunk erotic romance House of Sable Locks, the science fiction BDSM duology Tales from the Arena, and the Celtic fantasy Princes of Air. Her shorter work has appeared in anthologies edited by D.L King (Carnal Machines), Laura Antoniou (No Safewords), and Cecilia Tan (Jingle Balls_; Like a Prince).

Elizabeth lives in Central Florida with her husband and son, and a most accepting circle of friends who are both very amused and very proud of the pervy, fetish writer in their midst.

Here's the deal. I'm not one for the books that are filled with the none fade to black scenes. I haven't even read Fifty Shades of Grey, despite Jessica's many attempts to even offer blacking out or ripping out the pages where the content is. It's not that I'm prudish to books or the bigger stuff that involve the none fade to black..let's call it what is...SEX.
But I'm a YA author and with that, I tend to stick with reading the YA, which has its own sexiness as well...but with this book, I gave it a go for the better of the Crossroad Team. I will say this...I didn't get very far into the book before I had to walk away. This in no case is a reflection of the writing or the author, but more because I'm just not one to read these kinds of books. With that being said, I couldn't review it properly, so I'm giving it a 3 with a Give It a Try because it could be for you.
