#MovieReview: Star Wars The Force Awakens

Three decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a new threat arises. The First Order attempts to rule the galaxy and only a rag-tag group of heroes can stop them, along with the help of the Resistance.

So I have been wanting to see this one since I hear it was coming out.  And on New Years Day I got to so Whoop.  But that being said I think that this story would have been much better if we would have gotten another one that linked the older Episode 6 to this one.  So much time has gone past and I felt kinda lost.  We know that Leia and Solo's Son Ben has turned to the dark side etc.  But it would have been great to get a movie in-between the last one and this one.  I think it would have made this one seem better.

The other issue I had with this movie was that parts of it just felt stupid. and well the death sense from one character I won't spoil it for you. But that entire thing just felt weird and kinda down played.  I would have loved to see this character's death mean more than what it did.  I wanted it to bring heartfelt tears to my eyes.  And well with what we got it just didnt.  I didnt feel anything for this character's death at all.

The ending felt a little long gated another thing I won't spoil for those who havent seen the film.  But if you have seen it you know what I mean.  The round video of charter 1 and charter 2 circling them going back and forth with the staring. It was kinda stupid if you ask me.

So this one if you are a die hard fan I don't know if your going to like it.

Me im not a die hard fan of Star Wars I just like the movies.  So for me this one was a solid 3 stars.  And knowing that I do now although I do think it was kinda worth the money spent watching it.  I think I might have just waited for it to come to Blue Ray and gotten it then.
