Thoughts: Readers and Non Readers 4 Thoughts

Welcome to this weeks Thursday Thoughts. I know its been a while since we posted memes. But with being sick and school and well reading its been a real trip the past month.  So I'm happy that were again posting these.  This weeks topic comes from BookRiot.  You can read their article here.

Ok so this is a thought about things that Non Readers do and say to us poor readers.

For the most part I'm always reading.  Be in the car (I tend to find ways not to drive), or even while watching tv.  I have even read right before a movie starts in the theater.  (books lights are amazing!)  And although I do live in a world where most of the people around me don't read I do wish for them to repeat my reading. (in the nicest way possible)

1. How many books do I have?

A better question would be how many books are on my TBR list.  Ya I don't know.  As for books that I am keeping I pretty much always know as I have this really awesome app called BookBuddy+ from the app store on my iPhone.  It does some money I think $4.99 but its so worth it.  I can scan all of my books in and it keeps them in order.  And if I need to see if I own something I can just own it and look.

2. Please don't bother me while reading.
I mean if the house is on fire etc please YES let me know so I can save the children, pets, and then my books and the electronics.  But really if you see me reading please unless its important or something you really REALLY need to ask. Just let me finishing this chapter before interrupting me.

3. Why do I read so much?

The easiest explanation for this one is that I love reading.  But to tell the truth the reason why I read so much. Is because of all the review books we receive. I don't have time to not read.  Which is fine by me.

4. You must have been such a nerd in school?

To tell you the truth I didn't start reading until I was 19.  We ended up being homeless and well I just started reading as a way to pass the time.  In the end we were homeless for a little over 6 months. And reading then went on the back burner.  I didn't start up again until I was in my late 20's and was pregnant with my second daughter (you know her as @_AwesomeAnnie on twitter and Instagram) I am pretty much dead being prego so I needed something to do. So that is pretty much how I got started with reviewing as well.

So what are your non reader pet peeves? Let us know in the comments!
