This book is a great YA romance mixed with some fantasy. The characters are different in this installment in the series, in a good way. And now there is a "kinda" love triangle going on. And I think the writing in this book has improved since the first book. Although I felt the end was a little rushed i believe that this is a good YA fantasy/romance.
