This book wins our Beautiful Cover Award!

I thought Cruel Beauty was just a retelling of Beauty and the Beast but it is so much more. This one has subtle and not so subtle hints at the Beauty and the Beast correlation. The author did an amazing job weaving in Greek Mythology, Demons, Magic and more in this twisting stand alone that I wish was a series.  This has got to be one of the best and weirdest books that I have read this year. Now don't worry there is no insta love here folks. But, there is one of the weirdest love triangles that I have ever read.  But, don't let that scare you off.  I think fans of Warren from the Shatter Me series will love Ingifex (very odd name) in this one! The only thing that I would like to add to this one is that the age group for this one I would put at older teen. But, to wrap this one up Cruel Beauty is a haunting tale of what you would sacrifice to save those you love, what you would give up and what you would fight for. And it leaves you with the question of Are You Pure of Heart?
