paranormal/romance
How did you get interested in writing this particular genre?
How did you get interested in writing this particular genre?
It's what I've aways loved to read.
What's a typical working day like for you? When and where do you write? Do you set a daily writing goal?
I have no set goals other that to write in most of my spare time. Which is anytime when I'm not at my day job.
A lot of research goes into writing, especially when you've never been to the setting in your books. I would;t say that researching is hard, but it does take up a lot of time, and you can't always find what you need. Then there's the dreaded synopsis. Perhanps this is the hardest thing in the world to write.
The acknowledgements I get for my writing, makes it all worth while. Why just a little while ago I was at Subway and a woman came over to me, grabbed my shoulders, and said, "There's the famous author." Now I'm in no way famous, but I do reside in a small town where people seem to really take notice of you. And just moments ago, I checked into Facebook to see a comment by someone that I am one of their favorite authors. Those are the things that I LOVE most about writing. Those are the things that make writing worth while to me.
I'm actually in the middle of two series. Yes, two, and it's a challenge, to say the least. I'm working on getting the 3rd and possibly final instalment of The Serendipitous Curse: Redeemed out. And also, book two in The Eternal Beings series, The Demon's Wrath (The Devil's Flower). Once these are out, I have promised myself to work on one series at a time, so stay tuned. I have many more WIP and stories planned.
I'd say half the time some days, and most of the time for others.
City Girl Meets Country Boy
I Am An Addict by Ben Cox & Shadow Spell by Nora Roberts - yes two at one time because that's the way I roll.

I like reading more than one book at a time. Sometimes some books are to good to wait till you are done with the other book.
