#Review of Blue Bloods by @MelissadelaCruz

When the Mayflower set sail in 1620, it carried on board the men and women who would shape America: Miles Standish; John Alden; Constance Hopkins. But some among the Pilgrims were not pure of heart; they were not escaping religious persecution. Indeed, they were not even human. They were vampires. The vampires assimilated quickly into the New World. Rising to levels of enormous power, wealth, and influence, they were the celebrated blue bloods of American society.

The Blue Bloods vowed that their immortal status would remain a closely guarded secret. And they kept that secret for centuries. But now, in New York City, the secret is seeping out. Schuyler Van Alen is a sophomore at a prestigious private school. She prefers baggy, vintage clothes instead of the Prada and pearls worn by her classmates, and she lives with her reclusive grandmother in a dilapated mansion. Schuyler is a loner...and happy that way. Suddenly, when she turns fifteen, there is a visible mosaic of blue veins on her arm. She starts to crave raw food and she is having flashbacks to ancient times. Then a popular girl from her school is found dead... drained of all her blood. Schuyler doesn't know what to think, but she wants to find out the secrets the Blue Bloods are keeping. But is she herself in danger?

My Review 5 Stars

Must Suck I Mean Read

^^Vampire Fun ^^

OMG I haven't read this series in such a long time.  And I never got around to finishing it.  So when I found out that a new spin off was coming.  I jumped at the chance to read all of them in a week.  Ya I know I'm crazy! This series is so breath taking.  From the sensual beautiful covers to the story that lies within this will grab you and keep you until the last page.  I really forgot how much I really adore this series.  With a new take on Vampires and Angels Blue Bloods brings you a story about multi characters in multi POVs that weaves you into the story of these wonderful teens.

I love how the author did the POV in this book.  I remember when I first read it that it irritated me.  But, now going back I LOVE IT. Its done so well and flows like melted butter. The characters are both wonderful and complete and the book is just Red Blood Yummy!

Go Into This One Knowing

GO into this one knowing that although I have told you what the story is about.  The story doesn't tell you until you are into it.  So don't get discouraged.  This one also has a lot of story to it.  Its not cut and dry.  Its not slow and you could prob finish it in a day or so.  But make sure you have the rest laying around as you will want to pick up the next one.  Cliffhanger!!!
