#Review of Pathfinder (TodHunter Moon #1) by @AngieSageAuthor

The first book in a new arc of the Septimus Heap series, telling the story of Alice TodHunter Moon, a young PathFinder who comes to the Castle with a Magyk all her own

Seven years after the events of the original Septimus Heap series, a young PathFinder named Alice TodHunter Moon—who insists on being called Tod—sets out from her seaside village to rescue her friend Ferdie from the malevolent Lady.

She receives help from ExtraOrdinary Wizard Septimus Heap and Ex–ExtraOrdinary Wizard Marcia Overstrand, but the Lady’s brother, the Darke Sorcerer Oraton-Marr, has a plan that will put everyone Tod holds dear in danger. To save her people, Tod must embrace her identity as a PathFinder and navigate the often dangerous Ancient Ways.

Full of Angie Sage’s characteristic humor and heart, PathFinder celebrates the joy of discovering one’s own personal Magyk, and of choosing the path that lets that Magyk flourish and grow.

Perfect for anyone who can’t get enough of the world of Septimus Heap!

There comes a time when you read a series (like The Selection by Keira Cass & Harry Potter) and then that series ends and your life is over. Well when the last book came out of Septimus Heap and I read it.  I think I was in a dark place for a little while.  But, then this new series was announced and well I perked right back up like a daisy.

For fans of SH this one will knock your socks off!  For new comers you prob won't really get into it until the magic arives but then you to will be sucked into this world.

The magic in this one take a few to get going.  Unlike in the other series when it was right in your face.  The world building was amazing and full of wonder and color like the other series.

For those who are fans of the other SH series.  This one picks up 7 year after the end of Fyre.  The new spin off gives us new characters to fall in love with.  And of course lets us see what our old friends have been up to.

So if your a fan of fantasy then this one is deff. for you!
