Excuse me while I swoon over this cover!!! I mean really this cover is just amazing!! And I want it in a poster and well a hardback book to.
Ok so this one was awesome. It gives a new take on the Fae where they are in our world and walk among us. Our world is now protected from the Fae by three laws.
You learn that if you touch them, they take a part of your essence While this power feeds the Fae, it bespells the human they touch. In a few touches the human becomes addicted and will do anything for the Fae. This really reminded me of the feeders in The Vampire Academy series. As when you are bitten its well better than sex.
As the story progressed I really loved this idea. Because, you can see Alina falling for the hot Fae and well they can't touch each other because she will become less and less of who she really is as basically she is poisoned.
The story was fast paced and suspenseful. And well it REALLY CREEPED me out in parts.
Its a great blend of forbidden romance, fantasy, and SPIDERS!!!!
