#Review of The House of the Stone (The Lone City #1.5) by @amyewingbooks

In The Jewel, we followed Violet in her servitude under the Duchess of the Lake. Now we'll hear Raven's story and her time as a surrogate for the Countess of the Stone in this digital novella from Amy Ewing.

When Raven is bought at the Auction, she knows immediately that things will not go well. And when she arrives at the Countess's palace, Raven quickly discovers that the Countess is much less interested in having a baby than experimenting with Raven's mind and body. Raven can only hope for an escape…and to see Violet again, all the while reminding herself that she is Raven Stirling, and she does matter.

ALL THE FEELS. If ever a need for a in between book to keep the hunger for book two growing, this would be it. Never in my life have I needed a second book, like I do this one! Loved reading and being apart of Raven's point of view, because you thought the Duchess was evil...you haven't seen anything until you've read Raven's story. OHHHH THE FEELS. LOVED THIS SHORT NOVELLA.

OMG This book killed me.  To know what Raven went through along side Violet just ripped out my heart! Even if you are not a fan of Novellas this is one that you MUST READ!

This was an interesting Novella!! In The Jewel, you learn little of what's going on with Raven but you feel really bad for her. I'm glad they came out with this because I wanted to know more about what happened to Raven. I feel really bad about what she was going through. Very depressing but a most read.
