#ReadingChallenge: Awakened (House of Night #8) by @KCastAuthor @pccastauthor #Review

Exonerated by the Vampyre High Council and returned to her position of High Priestess at Tulsa’s House of Night, Neferet has sworn vengeance on Zoey. Dominion over her immortal consort Kalona is only one of the weapons she plans to use against Z. But Zoey has found sanctuary on the Isle of Skye and is being groomed by Queen Sgiach to take over for her there. Being Queen would be cool, wouldn’t it? Why should she return to Tulsa? After losing her human consort, Heath, she will never be the same – and her relationship with her super-hot-warrior, Stark, may never be the same either… And what about Stevie Rae and Rephaim? The Raven Mocker refuses to be used against Stevie Rae, but what choice does he have when no one in the entire world, including Zoey, would be okay with their relationship? Does he betray his father or his heart?

For me this one doesnt go very far until the end.  This one and Burned I kinda think they could have shortened and tossed together.  Ya I know I already said that.  But for me that wold have made these two books one out of this world read!

This one is another one where we get some split POVs which move the story along at a faster pace vs. being in just Zoey's.  It works so well.

I thought this was the last book that I had read until Nyx comes out to talk to Heath.  So it seems so far that the next one is the last one I read so long ago. (wow that makes me feel old!)

So the only thing I had a question for you readers.  If you have read this or even if you haven't.  Do you believe that no matter what bad you do that if you truly want forgiveness you should be given it? Nyx says that forgiveness must be earned so ya bird boy (sorry can't spell his name) is going to be doing a lot of earning during the day.  But still do you think that you are worthy of forgiveness.
