#Review of Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles #1) by @jessica_shea

Everybody knows Cate Cahill and her sisters are eccentric. Too pretty, too reclusive, and far too educated for their own good. But the truth is even worse: they’re witches. And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship—or an early grave.

Before her mother died, Cate promised to protect her sisters. But with only six months left to choose between marriage and the Sisterhood, she might not be able to keep her word... especially after she finds her mother’s diary, uncovering a secret that could spell her family’s destruction. Desperate to find alternatives to their fate, Cate starts scouring banned books and questioning rebellious new friends, all while juggling tea parties, shocking marriage proposals, and a forbidden romance with the completely unsuitable Finn Belastra.

If what her mother wrote is true, the Cahill girls aren’t safe. Not from the Brotherhood, the Sisterhood—not even from each other.

It was AWESOME!!!!! The love triangle and love in this book was wonderful!  I really felt for Cate and her sisters.  The boys that love her were also so well done. Paul was such a sweetheart and Finn was just swoon worthy in a geeky way.  I really can't wait to read the next book.  I have to say though that I was kinda disappointed in the cover change.  The old cover (Above) just screams sensuality etc.  And the new one just feels very juvenile to me.  This book is for older teens and don't let the paperback cover fool you.  This book is up there with Sarah J. Mass's books.

I have a weakness. It's a condition, really. One I like to call, book needs. Because after I finish a book I love...I have this need to race out and buy the next book in the series. I even promised both Jess and Rachael that I wasn't going to buy another book for a while...right come on! I couldn't help it and late into the night I snuck on and grabbed book two. :) I HAVE NO CONTROL! So right there, should tell you that this book was AMAZE. It really is! I loved the romance, the mystery, the intrigue. I loved the way that every page was a new race for my heart and I was desperate to read more! Beyond all expectations, this book was better then amazing! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!! Oh...and if you want book boyfriends...this ones got two. Snack on that!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved both Paul and Finn and I can't decide who I want Cate to be with!! Can I be in a love triangle with two hot and sweet guys? Haha. The alternate time period they live in is interesting. The only time I put this book down was when I had to go to work or sleep. It just kept me wanting more! I can't wait for book 2!!
