J.L. Spelbring lives in Texas, where she wanders out in the middle of the night to look at the big and bright stars. Besides knocking imaginary bad guys in the head with a keyboard, she enjoys being swept away between the pages of a book, running amuck inside in her own head, pretending she is into running, and hanging out with her kids, who are way too cool for her.

This book picks up right where Perfection left off with Elyssa on the run. The world building in this book is very heavy but it helps to deepen the plot of the book. This book contains a lot of new characters in this book that we got to meet. But i still didn't care for the romance in this book. The relationship between Rein and Elyssa never really felt genuine and just felt very forced. But overall I really enjoyed this sequel.
