Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) by @cassieclare #BookReview

Danger and betrayal, love and loss, secrets and enchantment are woven together in the breathtaking finale to the #1 New York Times bestselling Infernal Devices Trilogy, prequel to the internationally bestselling Mortal Instruments series.

THE INFERNAL DEVICES WILL NEVER STOP COMING

A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the Shadowhunters. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: he needs Tessa Gray.

Charlotte Branwell, head of the London Institute, is desperate to find Mortmain before he strikes. But when Mortmain abducts Tessa, the boys who lay equal claim to her heart, Jem and Will, will do anything to save her. For though Tessa and Jem are now engaged, Will is as much in love with her as ever.

As those who love Tessa rally to rescue her from Mortmain’s clutches, Tessa realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. But can a single girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment, and the tangled threads of love and loss intertwine as the Shadowhunters are pushed to the very brink of destruction in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy.

This is the second time I've read this book. And every time I get to the end I want more! It makes me sad and happy cry EVERY TIME!

This book has the best love triangle ever! It's what all love triangles wish they could be.

This last book to the TID series (until we get The Lost Hours). Makes you feel so much for the characters that have ingrained themselves into your life. Their sorrows, joys, and wants have become yours and there is no separating the two. I know that prob. Sounds very weird. That a series has become my parabatai and every time the story ends I feel a little of my soul go with it.

Tessa, Will, Jen, Henry, Charlotte, Jessamine, Sophie, Gideon, Gabriel, Cicely, and of course Magnus will live in my heart until the end of time!

This book shows you the connection that you can have with others. That you do not need to be Blood to be family. It shows you to stand up for those who can not stand up for themselves. And to fight for what is right and just.

This story speaks volumes and I hope that everyone that picks it up is swept away by the story that lies within its pages.
