Vicki Stiefel
My new paranormal romantic suspense series, The Afterworld Chronicles, launches with Chest of Bone, (Curiosity Quills Press). Chest of Stone will be out in Nov. I just launched Chest of Bone-The Knit Collectionthe first knitting book created in conjunction with a novel. My mystery/thrillers—Body PartsThe Dead StoneThe Bone Man, and The Grief Shop, a Daphne du Maurier winner—feature homicide counselor Tally Whyte and are soon to be ebooks. I co-wrote (with Lisa Souza) 10 Secrets of the LaidBack Knitters. My late husband, William G. Tapply, and I ran The Writers Studio workshops.
I grew up in professional theater—the Ivoryton Playhouse—and planned to become an actress. Instead, I’ve slung hamburgers, managed a scuba shop, and am a professor. I’m a mom to two humans and a furry pack. My passion for scuba diving, fly fishing and knitting pop up in my novels. As do vinho verde and bourbon (not together!) and Maine lobster and chocolate (also not together!). I sing musical comedy scores in the shower, unfortunately not an Equity venue, write daily and teach fiction and modern media writing at Clark University. I'm currently pounding the keys on the series’ second novel, Chest of Stone.

Adriana Arrington

Born to an Air Force JAG father and an artist mother, Adriana learned from an early age there are at least two sides to every story, and each deserves to be told. After a nomadic upbringing, she married a southern charmer and settled down permanently in his home state of Virginia. To satisfy her enduring wanderlust, she transports herself to the sometimes scary, sometimes beautiful, but always interesting worlds of novels. Formerly an IT consultant to the DoD, she now enjoys writing full-time.

Laura Diamond
Laura Diamond is a board certified psychiatrist currently specializing in emergency psychiatry. She is also an author of all things young adult—both contemporary and paranormal. An avid fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and anything magical, she thrives on quirk, her lucid dreams, and coffee. When she’s not working or writing, she can be found sniffing books and drinking a latte at the bookstore or at home pondering renovations on her 225 year old fixer upper, all while obeying her feline overlords, of course.

Colin Heintze
Colin Heintze is a Colorado native whose developing young mind was warped by the likes of Ray Harryhausen, Frank Frazetta, Neil Gaiman, and Joe Bob Briggs. After a brief post-college career in East Asia and the Middle East, he returned to Colorado to become a civil servant.

Keith Fentomiller
When not wearing my fiction writer hat, I practice consumer protection law in Washington, D.C. Rest assured your tax dollars are hard at work as I battle marketers of "modern miracles" like weight-loss earrings and penile-enhancing herbs. (Please let me know if you spot an ad for penile enhancement earrings.)

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1990 with a degree in philosophy, which, surprisingly, did not qualify me for gainful employment. In short, it was on to graduate school. Well, almost. I spent a year touring with a professional comedy troupe, writing and performing sketch comedy at colleges in the Mid-Atlantic States. After that frolic and detour, it was a blur of law school, falling in love, cats, marriage, a dog, children, a fish, more dogs, another fish, a chinchilla, guinea pigs, and an assortment of uninvited rodents that have since burrowed through the foundation. Storybook.

I live in Kensington, Maryland with my wife, Laura, and two children, Stoney and Bay. Among my current menagerie of furry critters are a silver lab, Gracie, and a Boston Terrier, Beanie.

Nina Post

Nina Post is the author of eight novels, including The Last Condo Board of the Apocalypse, One Ghost Per Serving, and The Zaanics Deceit. She lives in Seattle and is into writing, reading, research, indoor rowing, tabletop gaming, cooking for friends, and occasionally going outside.

The Kelly Driscoll series has been re-released with all-new covers, and the third book, The Last Death Worm of the Apocalypse, was released in May 2017.

If you want to reach me, the best way is through my site, Twitter, or my Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/NinaPostAuthor/).

Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaways for The Last Condo Board of the Apocalypse and The Last Donut Shop of the Apocalypse in February!

 Sara O. Thompson

Sara O. Thompson’s first attempt at a book was prepared on a Remington typewriter and bore a suspicious resemblance to a famous novel whose title rhymes with ‘Gourd of the Spies.’

In her spare time, she performs improv comedy, tells stories on stage, and loves ballroom dancing. Sara lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her family.

Wilbert Stanton

Wilbert Stanton was born and raised in New York City. From an early age, Wilbert decided he would either write books or take over the world; everything else was just a precursor to his end game.

Along the way, he has studied Psychology, English, and Computer Science. He's held jobs in a wide range of fields and met people from all walks of life. Wilbert is constantly learning and growing as a person, in order to solidify his dreams.

In the end world domination was a bit tedious, so he decided to focus on writing books.

E.S. Wesley

E.S. Wesley is an author and advocate for the safety and mental health of young people. A long-time mentor and counselor, Wesley has worked for years to protect, encourage, and empower young adults to navigate a life that rarely makes sense. He believes all people are just waiting for someone to relate to their stories, so he makes up stories in the hope that someone will read and find a home there.

His stories are often strange and twisty.

Wesley lives with his wife in Texas, where he’s always writing. Texas has a lot of things that he likes, but Shelly is the best of them. Second best is his son, who introduced him to his wife. Sometimes we do things out of order—that just makes life more interesting.

Tyrolin Puxty
I'm a Jack, or more accurately, a Tyrolin of all trades.

Broken Dolls, the first in the trilogy, is an award-winning, international #1 bestseller and appeared on Buzzfeed's Top 24 Best SciFi/Fantasy Books of 2015.

I have been in the Top 25 of the Australian Songwriters Association and Top 5 of the Australian Independent Music Awards, was awarded an Australia Day Award for Music in 2014 and for Arts in 2015. I own a performing arts school, teach creative writing and host a podcast called HooPod, which is part of Felicia Day's community.

I love cats. I love every kind of cat. I just want to hug all of them, but I can't hug every cat.

Kes Trester
Thanks so much for your interest in A DANGEROUS YEAR! I'm busy writing the sequel along with another new series, so I don't spend as much time on GoodReads as I'd like.

Born in a little town known as South Amboy NJ in 1973, Matthew has been creating science fiction and fantasy worlds for most of his reasoning life. Somewhere between fifteen to eighteen of them spent developing the world in which Division Zero, Virtual Immortality, and The Awakened Series take place. He has several other projects in the works as well as a collaborative science fiction endeavor with author Tony Healey.

Jordan Elizabeth

~~Jordan Elizabeth, formally Jordan Elizabeth Mierek, writes down her nightmares in order to live her dreams. When she’s not creating art or searching for lost history in the woods, she’s updating her blog. Jordan roams Central New York, but she loves to travel.

Jordan is a young adult fantasy author represented by the Belcastro Agency.

Melissa McShane

Melissa grew up a nomad, following her family all over the United States, and ended up living in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains with her husband, four kids, and three very needy cats. Her love of reading was always a constant during those uncertain years, and her love of writing grew out of that. She wrote reviews and critical essays for many years before turning to fiction, and was surprised at how much she liked it. She loves the fantasy genre and how it stretches the imagination.
