#BookReview: Traitor's Hope (Blade's Edge #2) by Virginia McClain

Traitors lurk around every bend. Mishi’s mind is betraying her, and she fears her kisō and katana will betray her next. Taka’s heart abandons her for a person she cannot possibly trust. Now that the two friends are obliged to help re-establish peace in the land of Gensokai, the only question is where the next betrayal will come from and if Mishi and Taka will have the strength to survive it.

Virginia writes because when she stops the voices pile up, and it's more fun to share them anyway. When she isn't writing she'll take any excuse to go play outside. If there are no excuses to play outside she will curl up with a good book and a warm beverage. She currently resides in Winnipeg with a dog named Artemis, her husband, and a tiny, new human that mystifies her daily.

Well I didn't realize this was a book two but I wasn't all that lost. This book was well written if a little slow.  The world and characters came alive and I couldn't put it down. I really want to try book one soon and then reread this one. It was a very well written book with a wonderful story and great characters. If you are looking for a new fantasy to fall in love with check this one out.
