#BookReview: Alien Invasion by Israel Keats

In a virtual space station video game, a gamer must sneak past alien soldiers who've captured his crew to find help, with a robot partner he doesn't like. Can he shake this partner and rescue his crew without getting caught?

Israel Keats was born and raised in North Dakota and now lives in Minneapolis. He is fond of dogs and national parks.

This is Endy.
This book I didn't really like. The setting is a video game which isnt bad or good. It just wasnt really for me.   The characters are in a different types of video games. I never really connected to the story. The pacing was off it would go from slow to really fast and was kind of all over the place.

The main character was a gamer but the book went into third person and I never knew which character was which. I didnt have a favorite character and the author didn't do well with the secondary characters either.

It wasnt too much to handle. The conflict in the story was to win the game. Everyones motivated to do just that. The characters did talk but I didnt really understand who was talking.

This book series from many different authors is supposed to get reluctant readers to read but with the way that it stands and is told I cant see how that is going to work.  I was pretty much board out of my mind reading this and I am only 13.
