Noteworthy experiences while reading this book: I didn't realize this was part of the Uglies series. I was thinking this was a totally new book. Well color me suprised!

Do I Recommend this book? Yes if you are a fan of this world I think this is a book you would enjoy!

Notes and Opinions: I really didn't fall in love with the Uglies books or the Extras. I do not own any of them in print and really hadn't thought about them before this title came our way. I really just got bored with the story and thought it was really dragged out. So I was a little sacred to read this one. So when I started this I didn't even know it was connected with either series. And I am kind of glad that I didn't for the fact that I would have never picked it up. This world has changed so much to what I remember (yes I had to look some stuff up) from the other titles. It did a great job bringing the reader in and keeping me there. I was engrosed with the characters and the mind altering effects that this surgery brings. We still have a lot going on in this title and a ton of upheaval with the charaters and this world.

This had the vibe of a girl undercover and I really really liked it. After reading this one I might just have to go back and grab the other books in these series and try them again! I think that you could probably read this one without reading the others but you will most likely get more out of it if you are fan of the series as a whole.
