#BookReview with @YA_BookAddicts Empress Unveiled by @JennaMorland

About the Book:

"A fast-paced, mystical adventure mixed with heartbreak and hope that will keep you turning the page well into the night." Brenda Drake, New York Times bestselling author

What if a magical touch meant leaving everything you loved behind?

I was supposed to die. The doctors told me I had only two months to live.
That was before I met him. Daylan.
He was the miracle cure I had been waiting for. With Daylan, I was no longer the small-town girl with that unexplained illness. I was something more. The fate of a magical world depended on my survival, and I longed to go with him. There was only one thing stopping me.
Tyler.

About the Author: Jenna Morland is the author of Empress Unveiled published by Oftomes Publishing, set to release September 3, 2018. Jenna is a Canadian born author, song writer, and mother of two that lives under the Northern Lights. Slytherin to the core, Jenna’s ambition to write her debut novel happened somewhere between training for a triathlon and putting her kids to bed. But it was her determination to follow through that landed her a publishing deal. Growing up, her wild imagination thrived off of reading and her most desired hobby was to let a book completely consume her. Unlike most writers, Jenna never wrote in a diary. She dreaded English class and she never dreamt that one day she would write a novel. Until she did

My Review: This debut fantasy was knock your socks off good. And man you are going to be in the biggest book hole ever when you end. Becuase this one folks has one killed cliffhanger!  The author is off writing book two so I am hoping we get an early copy of that one!  Becuase I am dying here!  This story had a good flow and is a great starter to a new series.  This story does that the normal YA tropes that some have come to love and hate.  We get insta-love, a love triangle, and well the whole chosen one thing.  But they all worked very well for this story.  On the other side this book has everything from danger, a main character who is on her death bed, magic, and more!  I could not put it down and neither will you!

Do I Recommend this book? I recommend this one to lovers of fantasy!
