Blogger Hop: If you could travel back in time to purchase the first printing of a specific novel, what book would that be? via @coffeeramblings

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, I relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

If you could travel back in time to purchase the first printing of a specific novel, what book would that be?

Ok so I am not sure how this would work. Beucase the most expensive book on the market is the Bay Psalm Book printed in 1640, which sold at a Sotheby's auction for $14.2 million on November 26, 2013.

But would that book still be worth that much if I went back in time to grab it and then come back?  So I would think that this would have to be something that is special to me and not just something that is worth a lot of money.

So for me I would have to say that I would love the first copy of Harry Potter.  Although I have not read the books (other than book 3) I would have to say that it is one that has made this life so much better.  It was a story that made kids want to read and these books are not small!!!!
