Synopsis: A fierce wind and a blast of green light during a strange storm causes everything to change for Katharine Bowers and Becky Thatcher.

The girls wake up in Oren, an entirely different realm than their earthly city.

They meet Enalie, a fading magical presence who sets an incredible destiny before them... then simply disappears.

Left alone to fend off creatures that hunt them in the night, they must relay a magical heritage that doesn't make sense, and - if possible - save a world that they know nothing about.

About the Author:Jenna Greene is a middle school teacher in Alberta, Canada. She lives with her husband, daughter, and dog Thor: Dog of Thunder.

My Review: This was a fun middle grade fantasy! It reminded me of The Chronicles of Narnia of being wisked away to a world of wonder! I really enjoyed how this was about Elementals I haven't read about them yet. So that was a surprise.  This is such an epic fantasy that I had fun reading.   I could not put it down and yes we read way past my bedtime.  This one is for readers who want a new world to fall in love with as well as creatures that are known and not so known.

I recommend this to middle grade readers and well as low young adult readers!
