About the Author: Dea Poirier was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she found her passion during a creative writing course. She studied computer science and political science at the University of Central Oklahoma. She later spent time living on both coasts and traveling the United States before finally putting down roots in central Florida. She now resides somewhere between Disney and the swamp with her son.

My Review: When I found this author online I was excited to learn that she was local. This book was so good and the author was so nice!! I loved the family dynamics that the author added to the story and wow just wow she totally hit the mark on this debut! It had a good blend of things that I didn't see coming and a great ending. I can not wait for the next one!! It was one of those books that you think you know how its all going to come to an end then it actually ends and you are blind sided by the actual ending. I was like WHAT?!
