In this second instalment Sundin does not disappoint. We follow along Fillion who is sent to New Eden as a punishment for his crime. As well as Coal who has to swap places with Fillion as he finishes his sentence. I loved the dual perspective again in this story. I really enjoyed reading about Coals journey into the colony. We get to see how he feels and reacts to technology he has never seen or experienced before. I liked how we learned more about Fillions world and about the technology they use. In the first book we learned more about Coals world, so it was interesting to learn more about the colony as well as learning more differences between the two. I loved both worlds in these books. There is such a contrast between the two, a more futuristic world vs an older timely world where no technology exists. Sundin does an amazing job with her writing and I loved hearing more about each and getting to see more of how the characters react to their world vs their new world. This book will definitely leave you wanting more. Just like in the previous book Sunny Patel does a good job with the narration and help keeps you hooked in the story. I look forward to continuing on with this series. If you are looking for a good fantasy series this will definitely keep you on your toes and make you want to keep on reading to find out all the secrets of these worlds as their quest to find the truth continues on.
