#BookReview: Into the Wild (Warriors #1) by Erin Hunter @KatieThreeCats

Synopsis: For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their warrior ancestors.

But the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger, and the sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day.

Noble warriors are dying-- and some deaths are more mysterious than others.

In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary house cat named Rusty . . . who may turn out to be the bravest warrior of them all.
About the Author: Erin Hunter is the author of the bestselling Warriors and Seekers series. She is inspired by a love of animals and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior.

My Review:
When I started this story I already knew what I was getting into because I have read it in the past. But the story still grabbed me from the very first page! I loved the story about warrior cats I thought that this story was very unique and original! The author did a great job at establishing time and pacing.
      • The main character was Rusty (FirePaw) was one of a kind and I think that his choices and actions throughout the story felt believable and on point for his character. He had flaws, like he fed a rouge warrior even though he knew he wasn't supposed to. He didn't follow directions.

      • The POV was all Rusty and I think that it was perfect for this story! This allowed outside elements to change without me the reader knowing. So when Rusty found out then I was just as surprised as him. And that made the story even better!

      • The conflict in this one was more about Rusty and his life, but the overall conflict dealt with a war between two clans. And for me that worked out to round out the story.

      • Overall, this book drew me in, I liked the ending, and the characters, and I want to read more by this author.
