Lucy Collin learned to crochet as a child, taught by her grandmother. But it wasn’t until she had children of her own and discovered she could use her slightly rusty crochet skills to create amigurumi characters and cute toys that her obsession was born. Nine years later, Lucy has combined her passion for designing creatures and characters with her love of science fiction and fantasy. She has published patterns in magazines such as Inside Crochet and Crochet Gifts and created the patterns for the book Hollywood Crochet. Lucy Collin lives in West Sussex, England.

My Review: This book is HARD!!! When this came we sat down with the yarn and tried our hands at making Harry.  Well that didn't work out so well.  Harry ended up with a very large head and it didn't look like anything from the book.  I then gave up that maybe patterns weren't my thing.  So I gave it to another reviewer and they will be trying it themselves as they have much better skill than I.  So we'll make sure to keep you updated on our instagram with the progress.

After our experience with this kit. I would have to say that this is not for the beginner.  It is for those who can follow patterns easily as well as understand them.  It is also of course for those who LOVE Harry Potter!!

If you want to try your hand at these and you are not experienced I would say check out YouTube to get acquainted with patterns.  Also one other tip is to get a different hook the one that comes in this is crap.  It bends easily and isn't really usable.

Go Into This One Knowing: Not for the beginner
