#BookReview: Angel Raven (Halflings #4) by @heatherburch

Synopsis: Sometimes dead is better.

Raven has always considered himself a casualty of war. An outsider to all he secretly longs for, his dark fate and a broken heart have isolated him from his fellow Halflings. He's lost Nikki--a devastating blow. So it's fine with him that the other Halflings assume he's dead.

When Raven overhears Dr. RIchmond--his favorite human--has a college-age daughter in mortal danger, he swoops in to save her.

Raven finds that like him, Jessica Richmond has a dark side. Fleeing together, the two fight an unbearable attraction while they outsmart the thugs sent to kidnap Jessica. Raven is falling hard for the kick-butt college girl.

But Jessica holds a dark secret. One that could threaten everything the Halflings are working to protect.

In this fourth installment of the Halflings series, you'll journey with Raven as he rides the thermal currents between darkness and light. Grab your copy now. It's time to fly.

My Review: The mess up that I thought was in this one was actually in the last title. So now that thats been dealt with I can totally say that this was a five star read that I could not put down.  This one is for Raven and I couldn't put it down of course!!!  I really loved that although this is Raven's story we still get a well rounded story with all the POVs I have come to love!!  It also pretty wraps up the story of the evil man thats been after Nikki.  But of course we know he is slippery as a snake and will be back.  I really enjoyed how this one unfolded and all the realizations that lied within its pages.  I ended up reading this one twist since it seemed that my kindle app decided to skip pages when it changed orientation on me.  So that was kind of exciting to be able to read it twice in such a short amount of time.  I loved the new character Jessica (not only because we share a name). She's a no nonsense girl that prevails for good and fights against evil. Even before she finds out about her past.  I can not wait for Vine and Winter's stories (I know thats not how that is spelled).
