#BookReview: Roommaid by @sariahwilson & #AuthorChat tonight at 7pm EST!

Synopsis: From bestselling author Sariah Wilson comes a charming romance about living your life one dream at a time.

Madison Huntington is determined to live her dreams. That means getting out from under her family’s wealth and influence by saying no to the family business, her allowance, and her home. But on a teacher’s salary, the real world comes as a rude awakening—especially when she wakes up every morning on a colleague’s couch. To get a place of her own (without cockroaches, mold, or crime scene tape), Madison accepts a position as a roommaid. In exchange for free room and board, all she needs to do is keep her busy roommate’s penthouse clean and his dog company. So what if she’s never washed a dish in her life. She can figure this out, right?

Madison is pretty confident she can fake it well enough that Tyler Roth will never know the difference. The finance whiz is rich and privileged and navigates the same social circles as her parents—but to him she’s just a teacher in need of an apartment. He’s everything Madison has run from, but his kindhearted nature, stomach-fluttering smile, and unexpected insecurities only make her want to get closer. And Tyler is warming to the move.

Rewarding job. Perfect guy. Great future. With everything so right, what could go wrong? Madison is about to find out.

My Review: OMG this book was so cute!! I have to say that I wasn't sure about this one when I started it.  I don't read many adult titles and well for the most part I end up DNFing them.  But sure enough this one I fell head over heels for.  And I don't even wear heels!

I loved how the story unfolded with this massive amounts of humor.  I was cracking up from the very first chapters.  Nothing like having your aunt try and get you to rent an apartment where someone had been murdered.  But it's ok because the killer was in jail.  I was like nope!  A haunted house is the last thing this girl needs.

The story follows Madison as she is trying to find a way to live her life on her own terms. Away from her rich family that has cut her off.  I loved that she became a teacher.  It's a calling that I wished I had.  I was never really passionate about anything like that.  And it was nice to follow her story.   I loved how she was totally clueless when it came to things.  The amount of time she had to look things up on the Internet and still did things horribly wrong was so funny and it made her feel like a real person.  Us normal poor people take things like how to vacuum for granted. We just grew up knowing how to do those things.  And Madison just doesn't.

Then of course the other side of this story is Tyler.  I thought it was pretty sneaky for the author to not tell us what he did.  It was on the sly and I loved it!!  You really feel like Tyler is a private person so when that twist came at the end.  Its like a slap in the face.  I will say that I somewhat thought that what happened was going to happen.  But I wasn't sure and when it was revealed I was still shocked.  This is one of those books that I wished there were pictures. Because I really need to see what Tyler looks looks LOL.  Because WOW!!

Speaking of WOW! This book was adorable, cute, so very funny, light, and I just couldn't put it down.  It has all the check marks in a story to fall in love with from hot guy, clueless girl, adorable side characters animal and enough humor to kill you if you try to eat or drink anything while you read!

Go Into This One Knowing: Don't eat or drink when you read this! You WILL DIE!!

About the Author

Sariah Wilson has never jumped out of an airplane, has never climbed Mount Everest, and is not a former CIA operative. She has, however, been madly, passionately in love with her soul mate and is a fervent believer in happily ever afters—which is why she writes romance. She grew up in Southern California, graduated from Brigham Young University (go Cougars!) with a semi-useless degree in history, and is the oldest of nine (yes, nine) children. She currently lives with the aforementioned soul mate and their four children in Utah, along with two cats named Pixel and Callie, who do not get along. (The cats, not the children. Although the children sometimes have their issues, too.) For more information, visit her website at www.SariahWilson.com.
