#BookReview: The Red (The Godwicks #1) by Tiffany Reisz @8thcirclepress

Synopsis: Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother's art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it's in the red.

Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.

The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting...but surely her mother didn't mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red...

The Red is a standalone novel of erotic fantasy from Tiffany Reisz, international bestselling author of The Bourbon Thief and the Original Sinners series.

My Review:  As a long time fan of Tiffany Reisz I have to admit this book blew me away. I didn't think it was possible to fall in love with a book more than I had previously fallen for her Original Sinners, but I was so very wrong. I fell head over heels for both Mona and Malcom immediately. I loved watching Mona come into her sexuality as she fulfilled her contract with Malcolm. I was a bit heartbroken at the end finding out the truth about Malcolm but was thrilled to see that Mona found her mate in Malcolm's grandson Spenser. I also loved how Tiffany brought the different paintings to life in each scene between Mona and Malcolm. The imagery was so vivid I felt like I was there right along side Mona.
