#BookTour: Layla by @colleenhoover

Synopsis: From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover comes a novel that explores life after tragedy and the enduring spirit of love.

When Leeds meets Layla, he’s convinced he’ll spend the rest of his life with her—until an unexpected attack leaves Layla fighting for her life. After weeks in the hospital, Layla recovers physically, but the emotional and mental scarring has altered the woman Leeds fell in love with. In order to put their relationship back on track, Leeds whisks Layla away to the bed-and-breakfast where they first met. Once they arrive, Layla’s behavior takes a bizarre turn. And that’s just one of many inexplicable occurrences.

Feeling distant from Layla, Leeds soon finds solace in Willow—another guest of the B&B with whom he forms a connection through their shared concerns. As his curiosity for Willow grows, his decision to help her find answers puts him in direct conflict with Layla’s well-being. Leeds soon realizes he has to make a choice because he can’t help both of them. But if he makes the wrong choice, it could be detrimental for all of them.

My Review: What are you willing to do for the love of your life?

Although this book almost lost me early on. I stuck out because of my love for Colleen Hoovers stories. Which, I am very glad that I did!  Leeds is not the normal character that you fall in love with in this story.  He is the one that you kind of hate throughout it.  But realize that you're supposed to.  He is that character that although you want to love him you just can't until the very last chapters.  In other words this story is taking Leeds through hell and back from finding his true love and soul mate to loosing that person to only find them again.  I loved it!! Layla in this one is more of a side character which is kind of weird.  So although I did enjoy her I didn't feel like I really got to know her all that much.  This is more Leeds story about this situation and event.

I fell in love with the paranormal aspect of this story as well.  I think that Hoover can do anything she sets out to do. And I really hope that we get more from her in the future along this line.  It was just so good.

If you are a paranormal fan like I am. You might feel a little bored during the first part of this story.  But if you trust me and hold out the ending makes up for it in so many ways.

Overall, I couldn't put this one down and I can seriously say that I don't think I could have done what Leeds did.
