My Review: So this one I thought I was going to enjoy from reading the other series. But sadly this one does that thing that I kind of seriously hate. It builds and builds all the way to like 90% of the book where we get a twist and all the crap hits the fan then that's it and the book is over. I wish that the book would have gotten going and this would have happened closer to 50-60%. This book was also so freaking confusing. I had to reread parts over again just to make sure I understood it. I think for me this was just not the right book.

About the Author
Chloe Gong is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the critically acclaimed Secret Shanghai novels, as well as the Flesh and False Gods trilogy. Her books have been published in over twenty countries and have been featured in The New York Times, People, Forbes, and more. She is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she double majored in English and international relations.
