πŸ“š #BookTag: The “Totally Should’ve” Book Tag

Hey book lovers! It’s time for another book tag—because who doesn’t love chatting about books in fun and unexpected ways? Today I’m diving into the Totally Should’ve Book Tag, where I spill the tea on stories that totally should’ve done more (or less). Let’s jump in!

This tag was originally created by Emma from Emma Books on YouTube.

✨ 1. Totally should’ve gotten a sequel
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern — I’m still not over this one. I need more magicmore circusmore everything.

✨ 2. Totally should’ve had a spin-off series
The ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas — Yes, we’re getting spinoffs, but I want all the side characters to have their own series. Don’t make me beg.

✨ 3. Totally should’ve ended differently
(No spoilers, promise!) Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins — It hit hard, but whew... emotionally I needed a different kind of closure.

✨ 4. Totally should’ve had a movie franchise
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir — The world, the action, the intensity… it screams epic fantasy film.

✨ 5. Totally should’ve been a TV show
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater — Give me moody aesthetics, character-driven drama, and magical realism in 10 episodes per season. Yes, please.

✨ 6. Totally should’ve had only one point of view
Okay, I’m skipping this one… I kinda love multiple POVs. Give me all the heads to crawl into!

✨ 7. Totally should have a cover change
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi — The current ones are stunning, but that original cover? Let’s just forget it existed.

✨ 8. Totally should’ve kept the original covers
The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski — The dresses were iconic!

✨ 9. Totally should’ve stopped at book one
Not naming names... but some duologies really didn’t need that second book πŸ‘€

✨ 10. Totally should’ve not ended
The Bonds that Tie series by J. Bree — I could read about these characters forever. Just one more book? Please?

Feel free to snag the tag and do it yourself! Tag me if you post—I’d love to see your answers! πŸ’¬πŸ‘‡
