My Review:
I was really trying to get into this one, and even though the pacing was slow, I was still enjoying parts of it. But the multiple POVs just didn’t work for me. With a story this short, jumping between four perspectives felt overwhelming. I kept wishing it had stayed focused on either the little girl or Kiessen, because their voices were the strongest. In the end, the scattered POVs pulled me out of the story, and it just didn’t land the way I hoped.
