Welcome to @CuriosityQuills Week! Wilde's Fire (Darkness Falls #1) by @KrystalWade #Giveaway #BookReview

Here is the Third Book in the first day of Curiosity Quills Week!
This was one of the very first indie books I ever read. And it made me love this publisher so much!
If it wouldn't have been for this series I would never know the wonderful and amazing titles that this author releases each year!

"There is no pain in this death, only peace, knowing I am going to die with the one I love the most." - Katriona Wilde. Katriona Wilde has never wondered what it would feel like to have everything she's ever known and loved ripped away, but she is about to find out. When she inadvertently leads her sister and best friend through a portal into a world she's dreamed of for six years, she finds herself faced with more than just the frightening creatures in front of her. Kate's forced to accept a new truth: her entire life has been a lie, and those closest to her have betrayed her. What's worse, she has no control over her new future, and it's full of magic and horrors from which nightmares are made. Will Kate discover and learn to control who she really is in time to save the ones she loves, or will all be lost?

Krystal Wade can be found in the sluglines outside Washington D.C. every morning, Monday through Friday. With coffee in hand, iPod plugged in, and strangers - who sometimes snore, smell, or have incredibly bad gas - sitting next to her, she zones out and thinks of fantastical worlds for you and me to read.

How else can she cope with a fifty mile commute?

Good thing she has her husband and three kids to go home to. They keep her sane.

Back when I first started reviewing this was one of the first indie books I had ever read.  I was a very new reviewer and I believe at the time I didn't even know what indie was. This book scared me so much because it was over 300 pages long and I just wasn't ready to dive into a book with that length. Ya how wrong was I.  I know that it took me around 3 days to finish this one (this time around it took me less than 1). This world that Wade has created is beyond amazing, Wilde is such a strong character.  And this series over all is one that I would kill to see on the big screen!

This book has everything that a reader of fantasy is looking for.  Action, romance, mystery, and some really great world building.

When your tossed into a world of nothing but darkness it takes a lot more than pure strength to find the light.  Find out more in this amazing adventure from the mind of Krystal Wade!
