Welcome to day three of @CuriosityQuills Week! Negative Space (The Enigma of Twilight Falls #2) by @MikeSkunkApe #BookReview #Giveaway

Welcome to the first post of day three!  Were excited to share with you 4 more books!

Here is another book to make your head spin!

Negative Space tells the story of a provocative Los Angeles painter named Max Higgins, on the verge of local fame. The secret to his work's haunting allure? He collects photos of missing persons and incorporates them into his paintings, giving the often melancholy faces, as he puts it, a "home in his work." This fascination stems from the bizarre disappearances of people he knew growing up, including his father. Then, one day, someone recognizes a face in one of his paintings, and he is suddenly thrust into a journey as surreal as anything from his brush, a journey into his past that will determine irrevocably his future.

"What a page turner!...[Robinson is] a fine writer." --- Kitty Burns Florey, Author, Solos, The Writing Master

It was at the tender age of 7 that an interconnection of cells and organs called Mike Robinson (then Mikey) penned, or pencilled, his first story. Called "Aliens In My Backyard!", it went on to become a runaway bestseller, topping international charts (or maybe that just happened in his imagination, too).

Although he has since worked as an independent videogame producer and cinematographer, writing has always been the focal point of his creative life, although to him the phrase "creative life" sounds a tad redundant. His first professional sale, a short story entitled "The Hand of Spudd", appeared in Storyteller Magazine when he was 19. Since then, his work has appeared in a dozen magazines, anthologies and podcasts. In 2006, he was one of five guys comprising GLAWS, the Greater L.A. Writers Society, which has since become the second largest writers' group in Southern California. He's the editor of "Literary Landscapes", the society's publication. See more at:

"Skunk Ape Semester", his debut novel, was released early 2012 by Solstice Publishing and was a Finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. His follow-up, the supernatural mystery novel "The Green-Eyed Monster", debuted October 2012 from Curiosity Quills Press. His existential horror novel "The Prince of Earth" is also available. Reading these books I've found out that with Robinson you will know way early if you will like the book or not.  This one was well written on par with book one.  Fast paced with a lot of action!  This one has a ton of characters that you follow but don't worry you won't be lost!  I found it fairly easy to keep everyone straight.

Compelling and way out of this world.  Robinson doesnt write light and his stories will make you use your mind in very unexpected ways!
