Welcome to day Two of @CuriosityQuills Week! Because of You by @RaShelleWorkman #BookReview #Giveaway

Welcome to the last post of day 2!  We hope you have enjoyed the books that we have shared today! Make sure to come back tomorrow!

There's a first time for everything... and sometimes that means a first time at a second chance.

It's been seven years since Maddie Martin's parents died. Their killer wasn't just a random stranger, but her best friends' father. Kyle Hadley. The boy she's been in love with since she was old enough to understand the emotion, the boy she promised all of her firsts to. Worst of all, Kyle's father got away with it, and Maddie hasn't seen Kyle since.

That changes on her first day of college. Seeing Kyle again brings back all of her childhood feelings of friendship and love for him, but it also brings back the anger, sorrow, and pain she's been trying to bury because of his father.

Kyle Hadley has no idea why Maddie quit talking to him, especially when he needed her most. But he got over it, refusing to waste his life mourning the only girl he ever loved. There are too many women, too much of life to experience to bother thinking about Maddie. Except he does. And when he sees her again, he knows it.

But there are problems beyond Kyle and Maddie and their old feelings. The two of them are in danger and one or both might end up dead.

RaShelle Workman is an international bestselling author. All of her novels have been listed on multiple bestseller lists, including her BLOOD AND SNOW series, which has sold more than a million copies and the IMMORTAL ESSENCE series, which has been read more than two million times. Three of her books have been translated into Turkish and several can be downloaded and enjoyed on audio. Two of her books have been published through Curiosity Quills.

This is the first book via this author that I have read.  And I have to say that it was a doozy.  It starts out with a girl who lost her parents seven years ago getting a new tattoo.  Which is her way of remembering the loss of her parents.  She then starts college and hits a party where she sees a boy she hasn't seen for the past seven years either.  This book starts out with very strong emotions.  I do want to say that this is not for teens.  It is def. new adult. Many F-Bombs and talks of 3-ways.

Those set aside this is one emotional story that you shouldn't miss! It answers the question on what to do when you loose everything, how do you function and how do you go on. I really loved Maggie, I wasn't to keen on Kyle though.  The story was very heart wrenching and I enjoyed it even though I didn't care for the male lead until later in the book.

If your looking to get lost in a story for a little while then pick this one up!
