My Review: This was such an amazing story!! I chose it totally because of the cover for this years reading challenge to get at least 8 book off my shelf. 4 print books and 4 ebooks.  So this one I started on the first and finished it three hours later and now I am totally sad because book two doesn't come out until Feb. this is one of those tittles that you finish it and you just want to read book two right then and there.

I thought that this was a young adult title but as it turns out its a new adult title and that worked out even better!! I loved all the tension that built during the story and the romance.  The humor that Calli has was great and I loved all the inner banter that she did with herself.  I must have wrote down so many quotes.  Which are below.

The story itself had a mystery to it that I loved.  It was nice not figuring something out before the story told you. And then even when I thought I knew what Calli was going to be I was wrong.  That was an amazing feat with me since I always seem to figure it all out.

I just really don't know what to really say about this amazing story other than it was funny, sexy, and its one of those gems in the world of Indies.

“Sexonlegs”

“Now, this is why the women in horror movies always died. Stupidity.”

“the first I’d ogled in my entire life…and was I seriously edging around to get a better view?”

“Would he kiss me before the final deadly goodbye? Mind out of the gutter, Calli! I chided myself. And morbid much? I shook my head, clearing the cobwebs.”

“toilet bowl when I took a quick bathroom break. You can laugh, but you’d do it too. What if his face appeared in the toilet water as I was about to sit down. Lace bra and panties were one thing, but fully bared from that angle…I cringed at the thought.”

“I had to wonder…how many more monsters were out there? And what would they do to force me to play along?”

“I felt alive and safe, and like someone had finally seen the real me with all my baggage and they weren’t running.”

“There was enough bad juju going around, and now that I’d found him—or rather, he had hunted me down—I wasn’t ready to let him go.”

"Phenomenal storyline and twists that keep you on edge. It's full of secrets, drama, paranormal creatures, passion, murder, angst, grief, loss, & magical creatures." - Amazon reviewer

"I like urban fantasy and this was up there with the best of them. Highly recommended." - Steve (Amazon reviewer)
