Synopsis: Gabe wants to be left alone. That's perfect for Madison. She took the job at Guardian Redwood Ranch to avoid the troubles she had back home. As he starts to warm to her, Madison has to battle her own need for independence against the thriving security she feels with Gabe. When he goes missing in a forest fire, though, they both start to realize just what they mean to each other. Will these two overcome themselves to realize the value and love they bring to each others' lives?

My Review: I have to say that I fell for Gabe and Madison early on.  I loved the dynamic between them and the romance.  This is one of those stories that you would love to see on the screen (little or big) as it gives you all the feels.  This story was well paced and man did it stress me out when Gabe went missing.  I loved every second of this story and will need to go back and read book one.  If you are looking for a new romance author to fall for look right here!
