#ReleaseDay for Dark of Night by Emily Goodwin #SocialButterflyPR @jennw23

DON book2.jpg
Dark of Night, a sexy and exciting paranormal romance in the Thorne Hill series by New York Times bestselling author Emily Goodwin is live!

Everything has a cost.

I never thought the cost of falling in love could be my life. But when the Vampire Council gets reports of increased magical activity in the surrounding areas, they give the order for vampires to kill any witches they come across.

I trust Lucas to never hurt me, but he’s not the only vampire in my life, and let’s just say the others aren’t my biggest fans.

While I’m busy trying not to become vampire chow, something dark and powerful is surrounding Thorne Hill, infecting everything—and everyone—that gets in its path. If the darkness gets to the Ley line, then the whole town is doomed.

I won’t go down without a fight, but how can I fight something I can’t even see?

#BookDiscussion: Writing Books from Other Cultures

This week we're talking about if authors should write books from cultures not their own.  For me I think if the author does their homework I don't see why the author shouldn't be able to do so.  I mean if you take all those fantasy books out they're authors draw on other cultures for those.  So I don't see why this would be any different.

#BookReview for No Place Like Here by Christina June

Synopsis: Ashlyn Zanotti has big plans for the summer. She’s just spent a year at boarding school and can’t wait to get home. But when Ashlyn’s father is arrested for tax evasion and her mother enters a rehab facility for “exhaustion,” a.k.a. depression, her life is turned upside down.

The cherry on top? Ashlyn’s father sends her to work with a cousin she doesn’t even know at a rustic team-building retreat center in the middle of nowhere. A self-proclaimed “indoor girl,” not even Ash’s habit of leaving breadcrumb quotes—inspirational sayings she scribbles everywhere—can help her cope.

With a dangerously careless camp manager doling out grunt work, an overbearing father trying to control her even from prison, and more than a little boy drama to struggle with, the summer is full of challenges. And Ashlyn must make the toughest decision of her life: keep quiet and follow her dad’s marching orders, or find the courage to finally stand up to her father to have any hope of finding her way back home.

When independent student, Beri Baines,  is selected to study abroad, she has no idea her independent nature will be challenged by the very charming and conservative Brit, Colin Chapman.  Their strong attraction for one another continues to create conflict in their lives as the story leads them along and unforeseen events intervene and transform their future.

Their lives come full circle not realizing the implications of the choices they make.

The unique format of how this story is told, in two separate voices, is captivating.  Each page is a stand-alone chapter alternating between characters.

The novel is loved by book clubs for the discussion it creates for readers.

Blurb

I was about to make a huge mistake.
And when I say huge, I mean, approximately ten inches’ worth of mistake.
But after the week I’d had, this was just what I needed. A night of big bad mistakes with a big bad biker.

Honey Scott
Finding out your boyfriend is a cheating loser is a real buzz kill. Finding out you’re actually the other woman, is devastating. Call it temporary insanity, but I decide the best way to get over the loser I’d dated for two years is to get under a biker with tattoos, dimples and a hard body he knows how to use.
He’s going to make everything better with numerous mind-blowing orgasms. But just for one night.
Except one faulty condom means my one-night stand isn’t so one-night after all.

Caleb Calley
After a night of insane sex, the beautiful blue-eyed brunette gave me the slip. And even with all the women on offer afterwards, I can’t get her off my mind. So when she turns up at the Kings of Mayhem MC compound I’m quick to give her a second night of amazing sex and crazy orgasms. But this time, I’m not ready to let her go.
There’s just one problem— she’s not interested.
But if she thinks she’s going to give me the slip again, then she’s got another thing coming. I know she is keeping a secret from me but I don’t care what it is. I want her and I’m going to make her mine.

Biker Baby, book three in the Kings of Mayhem MC series.

#CoverReveal for Wed to the Warrior by @MadisonFayeSmut @GiveMeBooksPR

Blurb

Other would-be suitors called me “challenging”.
But the most undeniable, sinfully gorgeous Highlander lord around calls me a challenge.
Oh and he calls me something else, too: his.

Marriage has never been in the plans for me. Not with my reputation for being “headstrong” and “disobedient”. That is, until Lord Callum Bruce barges into my world and scatters those plans all over the place.

But Lord Bruce is a brute of a man. A battle-hardened soldier and fierce, dominant Highland lord. Well, that and completely beautiful, which is so very, very unfair.

When he tells me I’m to be his wife, I flee. But there’s no running from the most dominant, gorgeous, sinfully tempting man I’ve ever met.

Not after I’ve had a teasing taste of those perfect lips. Not when I’ve felt those rough hands on me. Not when deep down, I want him to chase me.

…Not when deep down, I want him to take all of me.

The first kiss was a mistake. The second was stolen. But the ones after that, I’ve run out of excuses for.

I’ve scared nine would-be-suitors away. But something tells me, number ten isn’t going anywhere.

Passionate about plaid? Step into something wild, filthy, and tropey as all get-out. Hot, alpha af, and WILDLY historically inaccurate. Warning: not responsible for lost or ripped bodices. Reader beware.

As with all my books, this one is safe, with no cheating, and a HEA guaranteed.
